Project's Activities

Our Activities:

The EntreCC Project integrates research, innovation, and hands-on training to enhance entrepreneurship and digital readiness across Europe’s Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). Each activity plays a vital role in fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable creative ecosystem. By empowering artists, educators, and small creative enterprises, the project strengthens their ability to adapt, innovate, and grow in an evolving cultural economy. EntreCC’s approach ensures that creativity, business acumen, and digital competence combine to support long-term cultural and economic resilience.

Research and Sector Analysis

The EntreCC Project began with a comprehensive research and mapping phase across Bulgaria, Greece, Austria, and North Macedonia. Through surveys, interviews, and literature reviews, the team identified key barriers within the Cultural and Creative Industries, including fragmented markets, limited funding, and digital skills gaps. The results were consolidated into an In-Depth Sector Analysis that informs all project outputs. This evidence-based foundation ensures the project responds to real sectoral needs, guiding policymakers, educators, and entrepreneurs toward targeted, sustainable innovation strategies.

Development of the EntreCC Handbook

A cornerstone of the project, the EntreCC Handbook provides creative professionals with practical tools to enhance entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital readiness. It combines theoretical insight with hands-on guidance, offering business model templates, case studies, and best practices from across Europe. Designed for artists, educators, and organisations, the handbook supports capacity-building and knowledge transfer across CCIs. Freely accessible online, it acts as a living resource that promotes collaboration, creative leadership, and sustainable business development in Europe’s evolving cultural economy.

Training and Capacity-Building

EntreCC’s Training and Capacity-Building Framework integrates creativity with entrepreneurship and innovation through structured, modular learning. Targeted at VET learners, educators, and young professionals, it covers project management, financial literacy, digital marketing, and emotional intelligence. Workshops, mentoring sessions, and collaborative exercises provide experiential learning opportunities, bridging theory and practice. By equipping participants with both creative and entrepreneurial skills, the framework helps transform artistic ideas into sustainable ventures, empowering a new generation of professionals ready to navigate Europe’s dynamic creative landscape.

Digital Empowerment and Tools

Digital transformation lies at the heart of EntreCC’s mission. Through its Digital Readiness Toolkit and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Toolkit, the project equips creative practitioners with practical resources to enhance digital competence and business innovation. These tools provide guidance on e-commerce, online collaboration, digital storytelling, and audience engagement, complemented by workshops and webinars. Participants learn to apply design thinking, lean start-up, and sustainability principles, enabling them to embrace emerging technologies, diversify income streams, and thrive within an increasingly hybrid creative economy.

Cross-Border Collaboration and Networking

EntreCC fosters meaningful cross-border collaboration among creative professionals, educators, and policymakers from Bulgaria, Greece, Austria, and North Macedonia. Through transnational meetings, co-creation labs, and online exchanges, participants share knowledge, build partnerships, and develop innovative joint projects. This network strengthens intercultural dialogue, supports local ecosystems, and opens access to new markets across Europe. By connecting diverse creative actors, EntreCC builds a resilient, collaborative framework that enhances Europe’s capacity for cultural innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship across multiple creative disciplines.

Dissemination and Policy Engagement

EntreCC’s dissemination and policy engagement activities ensure that project results reach a wide audience of stakeholders across Europe. Conferences, multiplier events, and local presentations promote dialogue between academia, industry, and public institutions, amplifying the project’s impact. Policy engagement translates research outcomes into actionable recommendations supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and education in CCIs. These efforts align with EU priorities under Erasmus+, the European Skills Agenda, and the Green Deal, reinforcing evidence-based policymaking for a more sustainable, inclusive creative economy.
